Paws for Puppy Tales - July 2020

Updated: Aug 12, 2020

7-8-2020 - Here we are almost mid July already, and STILL no new puppies coming our way. The three lists mentioned in my last post in mid June is down to two. Diana S. bitch that she thought might be carrying 4 puppies, was x-rayed and had only two. She ended up losing one of them at birth and the pup that was born is a male. They both were actually. That leaves me with Deb B. girl due any day now, and the one female pup Victoria O is keeping me posted on with pretty much weekly pictures. The pup is almost 4 weeks old and looks promising as far as markings go. Pictures make her seem on the bigger side, but that could be the photos or the due to the fact that she is in a liter of just two puppies and is getting plenty of milk. Pictures having been coming, but information is little with unanswered questions I've asked. All I do know is who the mom is. More information later I suppose as the pup progresses. Will also know about DM carrier status, etc before any decision is made. Time will tell. The Covid virus is still running rampant in the United States and I suppose it will be here for a while, especially until a vaccine is found and made. I am so thankful to be retired and not have to worry about going out among others in the work-world. Terri came down with the virus after being with all of us sisters, so we all went in for testing and thankfully we were all negative. Terri's case was thankfully one more on the mild side. This was much to close to home for comfort and put my mind on guard more so again, after finally feeling a little more at ease about the whole thing. Though we wear masks where ever we go in public, it just goes to show that you can never be too careful. This just really needs to GO AWAY!! :(
